New Horizons in Phonosurgery: Air Injection and Transillumination for Vocal Fold Mucosa

This novel, advanced and minimally invasive technique is used during microphonosurgery to identify hidden vocal cord pathologies, outline submucosal bands, and define anatomical boundaries.

Following the presentation of the surgical technique, a case-based interactive discussion is planned, focusing on the fundamental differences in treatment between benign and malignant lesions due to the unique structural behavior of each pathology, as well as surgical tips and tricks.
