Dr. Shailesh Khode is a Consultant ENT and Lead Snoring-Sleep Apnea Centre at the Tarabichi Healthcare, Dubai, and visiting Consultant Otolaryngologist at NNMC Healthcare across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, UAE. With over a decade of focused experience in sleep surgery and ENT care.Prior to his current roles, he served at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi for three and a half years, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi for three years. His earlier tenure includes four years as Staff Physician in the Department of ENT at KTP Hospital, Singapore, where he was honoured five times with the Excellent Patient Service Award.Dr. Khode holds a Master’s in Otolaryngology and a fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery from India. He is internationally credentialed with FACS, FEBORL-HNS, MRCS, and DOHNS (UK), reflecting his commitment to global standards in surgical excellence.An active contributor to research and education, Dr. Khode has authored over 18 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for several journals, including the International Journal of Otolaryngology and American journal of Otolaryngology. He is also a contributing author to the third edition of Snoring and Sleep Apnea, with a chapter on pharyngoplasty.He has delivered invited lectures and presentations at prestigious national and international conferences across India, South Korea, Singapore, Belgium, Oman, IFOS, Dubai, Rome, and Mexico. His recent academic pursuits include a Sleep Surgery Fellowship at Asia Sleep Centre, Singapore (2022), and an International Sleep Breathing Disorders Fellowship completed in Rome, New York, and Mexico (2025).Dr. Khode is affiliated with leading professional bodies such as the International Surgical Sleep Society ,the Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnea and world Sleep society underscoring his dedication to advancing sleep medicine through collaboration and innovation.
Supawan Laohasiriwong, MD is an otorhinolaryngology assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, in the north east region of Thailand. Her specialty is sleep medicine and upper airway surgery for obstructive sleep apnea. She graduated from Khon Kaen University and also underwent postgraduate ENT residency training there. She did her research fellowship in sleep medicine and surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, USA under the mentoring of the renowned Prof. B Tucker Woodson. Her research interests are melatonin for procedural sedation, OSA and sleep towards health risks. Her other areas of expertise include head and neck cancer surgery, thyroid surgery and laryngotracheal stenosis.
