Dr. Yen Hsieh is a double-board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and assistant professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in comprehensive facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and otolaryngologic care.
Dr. Hsieh’s academic practice at USC and CHLA uniquely offers advanced solutions to complex ENT and facial plastic conditions for all ages, emphasizing both functional restoration and aesthetic excellence. He is actively involved in teaching and research at the Keck School of Medicine, contributing to the training of medical students, residents, and fellows in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and pediatric otolaryngology. In addition, Dr. Hsieh served as the Associate Residency Program Director and Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship Director.
An active researcher and educator, Dr. Hsieh has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on facial plastic surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, ENT and Neck Surgery procedures, and innovative surgical techniques. He is widely recognized for his educational roles, mentoring medical trainees and presenting at local, national, and international conferences.
Passionate about global health, Dr. Hsieh participates in cleft and craniofacial as well as head and neck reconstructive surgical missions annually throughout Asia, Africa, and Central America, committed to expanding access to high-quality care for children and adults with facial differences.
