Secil Akyildiz, MD, FEBORL-HNS, is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Türkiye, and a PhD candidate in Clinical Anatomy. Her clinical and research interests focus on head and neck surgical oncology, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, head and neck reconstruction, laryngeal cancer, and surgical anatomy.
Dr. Hande Arslan is an otorhinolaryngology specialist. Her main interests are sleep surgery and rhinology (Endoscopic sinus surgery, dacryocystorhinostomy, skull base surgery). She has various articles about neurotology and head and neck oncology. She is a co-author of 73 publications, Citation in Web of Science Core Collection 115, and an H-index of 7.
She is the author of the book ‘KBB Akıl Notları‘, Güneş Tıp Kitabevi, 2017, and the second edition, 2025. She also translated Bailey's Otolaryngology Review Book, Edition 2, into Turkish in 2026.
She became an associate Professor in 2018 while studying at Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital in Ankara. She also earned a certificate in sleep medicine in 2022 while studying here.
She has been working at Samsun City Hospital, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, since 2022.
She became a Professor in 2026 while studying at Samsun City Hospital.
Dr. Buğra Subaşı was born in Sakarya, Turkey.
He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Medicine, and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Düzce University, Faculty of Medicine.
He worked at Kilis State Hospital, Sakarya Hendek State Hospital and Kütahya Health Sciences University Faculty of Medicine.
Between 2016 and 2019, he worked at the Sleep Laboratory of Sakarya Hendek State Hospital.
He is a National Board Certified Otorhinolaryngologist Head and Neck Surgeon.
Dr. Buğra Subaşı is currently working as an Associate Professor at Düzce University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
