Prof. dr. An Boudewyns is Head of Clinic in Pediatric ENT at the Antwerp University Hospital, Belgium and  Associate Professor of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Antwerp, Belgium at the faculty of Medicine and Translational Neurosciences. She is also an honorary professor at the Faculty of Health and Clinical Medicine of Aarhus University, Denmark. Prof. dr. An Boudewyns is executive board member of the European Society for Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (ESPO). She is representative for ERN cranio (working group genetic hearing loss) at the University Hospital Antwerp, Belgium.

 Clinical and research activities are focused on hereditary hearing loss,  the multidisciplinary approach of pediatric sleep-disordered breathing, Down syndrome and endoscopic airway procedures.
