The chin is in a prominent position on the face and plays a significant role in the facial profile. Advancement osteotomy or filler augmentation could be performed during facial procedures to improve the facial profile. In surgical cases, after horizontal osteotomy was completed, five different fixation methods were applied using mini-plates and screws. In the patients who did not tend to undergo surgical intervention, fillers were used as a simple method with no or very minimal risk. However, it is suitable for mild to moderate cases with no functional problems.
