What can we learn by applying workers’ hearing screening to the elderly?
09-13, 11:15–12:15 (Europe/Istanbul), Audiology 1

To verify whether it is meaningful to apply hearing screening to elderly people who are not covered by existing hearing screening.

In Japan, various types of screening for the elderly are being conducted as part of programs for long-term care prevention and extension of healthy life expectancy, but they do not include evaluation of hearing. Since it is not difficult to add hearing screening, which is already used in workers' health checkups, it is necessary to confirm the usefulness of such screening.
