<p>Associate Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at Sapienza University of Rome since March 2024.</p> <p>Completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology in 2012 in Rome. He holds two PhDs: one in Clinical and Experimental Neuroscience and Auditory System Disorders (Sapienza University, 2017) and another in Physiology and Pathophysiology (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, 2015).</p> <p>From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a specialist assistant in the Otology, Hearing Implants, and Skull Base Surgery Unit at Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris. From 2019 to 2022 was Assistant Professor at the University of Cagliari, Italy.</p> <p>From 2022 to 2024, he served as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital in Rome.</p> <p>He is the author of numerous scientific publications and a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. His main clinical and research interests include otologic surgery, auditory rehabilitation, and lateral skull base surgery</p>

<p>Prof. Onur Çelik is Professor of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Manisa Celal Bayar University, Türkiye. A board-certified otolaryngologist and audiologist, his clinical and academic work centers on otology, neuro-otology, and audiology, with particular attention to the electrophysiology of ear disease, reconstructive middle ear surgery, cochleovestibular disorders, and facial nerve pathology.</p> <p>He has published widely in the field and is a regular contributor to the international scientific programme, lecturing and teaching at meetings across Europe and beyond. He is the author and editor of several textbooks in otorhinolaryngology, including reference works used by specialists in training.</p> <p>Within Turkish otorhinolaryngology, Prof. Çelik has chaired the national board committees on education and accreditation, led the executive boards of the specialty's foundation and society, and most recently served as President of the Otology and Neurotology Society. He previously served two terms as Türkiye's national delegate to the Otorhinolaryngology Section of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), and currently serves as Honorary Fellow and Examiner of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.</p> <p>He is a member of several international professional societies, including the Politzer Society and the International Vestibular Society.</p>
