I graduated from Medical School of Erciyes University in 2011. I completed my attending education in otolaryngology in 2016. I had been in Massachusets Eye and Ear as an observer n 2016. I am interested in rhinology and pediatric otolaryngology. I am still working in Erciyes University, Turkey.
Muammer Melih Şahin, MD Secretary, Rhinology Scientific Group, IFOS 2026
Dr. Şahin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and completed his residency training in otorhinolaryngology at the same institution in 2016. He joined the academic staff of Gazi University in 2019.
His principal clinical interests include rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, as well as endoscopic sinonasal, orbital, and skull-base surgery. His other clinical and academic interests encompass transorbital neuroendoscopic surgery, neurotology, lateral skull-base surgery, head and neck oncology, thyroid surgery, and the surgical management of sleep-disordered breathing. Through multidisciplinary collaboration with neurosurgery, he has contributed to the development and clinical implementation of minimally invasive endoscopic endonasal and transorbital approaches to the skull base.
Dr. Şahin is actively involved in undergraduate medical and residency education. In addition to his extensive scientific publication record, he contributes to the field through invited lectures, professional training courses, and scientific meetings.
