<p>I have been practicing for 10 years at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI, USA after competing my Rhinology fellowship at UPENN. I like all aspects of the nose, sinuses, and skull base. I’ll be moderating or facilitaing sessions or panels panels on odontogenic sinusitis, rethinking empty nose syndrome, nasal septal perforations, fungal sinusitis, and extended maxillary sinus surgery. <p>Edward McCoul, MD, MPH, is Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he also serves as Research Medical Director for Surgical Specialties. He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine where he also earned master’s degrees in epidemiology and pharmacology. He completed fellowship training in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College—New York Presbyterian Hospital. He serves as associate editor or on the editorial board of several major journals. He is a fellow of the American Rhinologic Society, the American College of Surgeons and the Triological Society. His professional interests include diagnostic endoscopy, pharmacotherapy, patient-centered outcomes, decision making theory, and applications of artificial intelligence.</p>

<p>Dr. Crosby serves as Chair, Residency Program Director, and Professor in the Department Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She is also the Director of the Division of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and the Director of Otolaryngic Allergy.</p> <p>Dr. Crosby obtained her medical degree from Drexel University. She completed her residency training at Southern Illinois University and went on to complete a fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Since that time, she has served as faculty at Southern Illinois University. While serving as faculty at SIU, she obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Dr. Crosby’s clinical practice includes sinus surgery and endoscopic approaches to the skull base and orbit in pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Crosby’s research interests include understanding factors that impact outcomes following endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, gender disparity in medicine, and leadership in medicine. Dr. Crosby is the Associate Editor for the sinonasal disorders section of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She is a member of the editorial board of both Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology. She has serves on multiple committees for AAO-HNSF, ARS, and AAOA. She is the Chair of the Rhinology Training Council and she serves on the Foundation Board for the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Crosby is passionate about education and has been nominated “SIU Surgical Educator of the Year” and Otolaryngology educator of the year and has received additional awards in education annually. She has been an invited lecturer at numerous national and international conferences where she has discussed a variety of rhinologic topics and demonstrated cadaveric Rhinologic and skull base dissections.</p>

<p>Sue Jean Mun, MD, PhD is a Rhinologist in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital, a branch hospital of Pusan National University Hospital located near Busan in Republic of Korea.</p> <p>She was born in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA and raised in Busan, Republic of Korea. Dr. Mun graduated from the Pusan National University College of Medicine in Busan. She completed her residency in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital and board- certified in 2013. Following her residency, Dr. Mun completed fellowships in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, Sleep medicine, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital. She then joined the faculty at Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital, her alma mater, in 2014. She completed her sabbatical year in the Department of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2024.</p> <p>She is passionate about education and resident training. She has served as a course director of Pusan National University and the Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam Branch of the Korean Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (KSORL) Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Cadaver Dissection Course for 10 years. She enjoys applying anatomic knowledge to sinonasal tumor surgery, skull base surgery, rhinoplasty and facial reconstructive surgery. Her current research interests include applying deep learning technologies in sleep medicine and the pathologic interpretation of chronic rhinosinusitis.</p> <p>She is a member of the KSORL, Korean Rhinologic Society (KRS), Korean Society of Endoscopic Neurosurgery (KOSEN), Korean Society of Sleep Medicine, Korean Society of Sleep and Breathing and Korean Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She currently serves as Director of International Affairs for both the KRS and KOSEN.</p>
