Dr Isabelle Gengler is an American and French facial plastics and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty, facial nerve reanimation surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and cosmetic surgery of the face. She completed medical school and Otolaryngology-HNS residency in France, then moved to the United-States where she completed a second Otolaryngology residency, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive surgery of the face at the Johns Hopkins hospital in 2025. She is now an attending physician at the Thomas Jefferson University/Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, where she is establishing a reconstructive center dedicated to facial nerve and reconstructive surgery. She performs both cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, in adults and children. She also serves as the Vice Chair of Research for the YO-IFOS group since 2023.

Eleonora Trecca, MD, PhD, is an Otolaryngologist at IRCCS Ospedale Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, recognized as the best hospital in Southern Italy. She earned a PhD in Translational Medicine from Foggia University Hospital and has completed several professional experiences abroad, including in the United States, United Kingdom, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, and Malta.Her most recent career project was a research scholar program focused on Otology, Neurotology, and Cranial Base Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital (USA).Dr. Trecca conducts research in various fields of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, for which she has received numerous honors, scholarships, and invitations to national and international conferences.Her primary areas of interest include:- Smell and taste disorders;- Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery;- Head and Neck Reconstruction;- Pediatric Otolaryngology;- E-Health and artificial intelligence.In 2018, she received the American Rhinologic Society (ARS) Fall Poster Award and the CRS Scholarship for the best career project in Otology. In 2019, she was awarded first place for the best scientific contribution in Audiology and Otology at the Academy AUORL national meeting in Milan. In 2021, she received the AUORL Award for the best dissertation in Otolaryngology and the Italian Society of Audiology (SIAF) Scholarship. Most recently, in 2024, she was awarded the European Rhinologic Society (ERS) Fellowship.Dr. Trecca has been elected as the representative of the Young Otolaryngologists and serves as the Scientific Secretariat of the Italian Society of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (SIOeChCF). She is also the Chair of the Congress Committee of the Young Otolaryngologists of IFOS (Yo-IFOS).Additionally, she has obtained the National Scientific Qualification to serve as an Associate Professor in Italian Universities, valid from June 2022 to June 2033.
