<p>Professor Thierry MOM, M.D., Ph.D.</p> <p>Professor Thierry MOM is the Head of the Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery Department of the University Hospital of Clermont-Ferrand, France.</p> <p>He started the University Cochlear Implant program in 2000, as well as the lateral skull base surgery program with the Neurosurgical team .</p> <p>He created the Clermont-Ferrand University Formation Center of Orthophonie (Speech Therapy-CFUO) in 2016 and the University Formation Center of Audioprothèse (Hearing Aid-CFUA) in 2023.</p> <p>His domain of expertise is Otology, Otoneurosurgery and Audiology</p> <p>He is much involved in global outreach for many years, heads the Otolaryngology French Action for Global Outreach (AEGOF) since 2014 , represents the Global Outreach section of IFOS since 2017 and is the scientific director of the French speaking International Society of Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery (SIFORL) since 2025.</p>
