After graduating from Marmara University School of Medicine, I completed my residency in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the same institution. I am currently working at Marmara University as a faculty member . My special clinical and academic interests include rhinology, skull base surgery, and endocrine surgery. I have international experience in rhinology and skull base surgery, and I also received a scholarship from the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons, through which I completed advanced training in endocrine surgery at two different centers in Europe.
I graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and completed my residency training in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine. I currently work as an ENT specialist at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
My main clinical interests include rhinology, head and neck surgery, and microvascular reconstruction with free flaps.
At this meeting, I will present “Strategies for Maintaining Long-Term Patency: The Role of Drain Placement in Frontal Sinus Surgery.” This presentation focuses on the role of drain placement in preserving frontal neo-ostium patency, its indications in selected cases, and practical considerations for reducing restenosis after frontal sinus surgery, based on current evidence and clinical experience.
