Emel Çadallı Tatar, M.D. is a Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. She has graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Medicine in 1999 and completed her Otolaryngology residency in 2004 at the same university. She was an otolaryngologist between 2007-2010, an attending otolaryngologist between 2010-2013, an associate professor between 2013-2020 and a professor since 2020. She has over 110 articles published atnational/international journals and over 425 citations.
Dr. Thomas Carroll is a surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital specializing in laryngology with special interests in care of the professional voice, chronic cough and glottic insufficiency. He completed his fellowship in laryngology and care of the professional voice at the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center. He is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Since 2014 he has served as the Director of the BWH Program for Voice, Swallowing and Upper Airway Health. Dr. Carroll is a graduate of Oberlin College with a degree in Music.
Maria Rosaria Barillari, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Audiology and Phoniatrics at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Naples, Italy, Head of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Speech and Language Therapy at the same University and Consultant Audio-Phoniatrician at the affiliated University Hospital. Primary research focus is clinical laryngology, with particular expertise in laryngopharyngeal reflux disease, pediatric dysphonia, relationship between voice disorders and psychological distress and elderly voice. She has coordinated many national and international research initiatives in the field of phoniatrics and laryngology and contributed to the development of European clinical practice guidelines on LPRD.In the field of audiology, she works within a National Referral Center for Rare Ocular Diseases, collaborating in the identification and characterization of rare genetic syndromes presenting with combined visual and hearing impairment. Autorship in over hundred peer-reviewed scientific publications and textbooks. Membership on various scientific societes (CEORL, ELS, UEP, IFOS, SIAF) and editorial boards. She currently serves as National Secretary of the Italian Society of Audiology and Phoniatrics (SIAF) and is Chair of the Laryngology Study Group of YO-IFOS.
