I graduated from the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. I completed my Ear, Nose and Throat training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and became an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist in 2008. I worked as assistant professor and associated professor in Gaziantep University. I currently work as a professor in Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University.

Dr. Gökçe Tanyeri Toker is a distinguished ENT specialist and Associate Professor at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University, with expertise in otology, neurotology, and minimally invasive ear surgery. A 2013 Politzer Prize winner for her experimental research on neuroprotective agents in facial nerve regeneration, she has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, including studies on vestibular evoked potentials, hearing preservation, and endoscopic techniques. Trained at Ege and Celal Bayar Universities, she completed observerships at Ohio State University and holds certifications in temporal bone dissection, rhinoplasty, and head neck surgery. Dr. Tanyeri Toker actively contributes to international textbooks (e.g., Springer’s Otology Updates), leads national projects, and serves on boards for the Turkish Otology-Neurotology Association. Her clinical innovations, such as underwater endoscopic ear surgery, align with global ENT advancements.
