<p>Prof. Dr. K Serkan Orhan</p>
<p>Dr. Orhan graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. He completed his specialization in the ENT Department of the same institution. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2012 and became a full Professor in 2018. Throughout his career, he has gained international experience as a visiting doctor at several prestigious institutions, including St Radboud University (Netherlands), The Royal National Ear Nose and Throat Hospital (UK), University of Miami (USA), and House Ear Institute (USA).</p>
<p>Dr. Orhan has authored more than 100 articles published in both local and international journals. His h index is 14 of Web of Science, 21 of Google Scolar. He has described five surgical techniques and designed an endoscopic ear surgery set. His primary areas of interest include ear surgery and skull base surgery.</p>
<p>Currently, he works full-time in the ENT Department of Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and serves as a consultant at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital.</p>
<p>He is a member of CORLAS (Collegium Oto-Rhinolaryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum) and IWGEES (International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery).</p>

<p>Ülkü Tuncer was born in Adana in 1965.</p>
<p>After graduating from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1989, Prof. Dr. Ülkü Tuncer completed her specialization training at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine between 1992 and 1998. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2004 and became a Professor in 2009. Prof. Dr. Ülkü Tuncer was a clinical observer at the University of Pittsburgh in the USA between 1996 and 1997, and received training at the House Ear Institute in the USA in 2003.</p>

<p>I am a Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology, Director of the University of Miami Ear Institute, and Director of the ACGME-accredited Neurotology Fellowship Program. I hold two Board Certifications in Otolaryngology and Neurotology. Specific to this course, I am highly experienced in clinical and translational research in hearing loss and clinical research in genetic hearing loss. I am a cholesteatoma surgeon, have taught countless of surgical training courses both nationally and Internationally, and have carried out clinical studies on cholesteatoma outcomes in patients, both pediatric and adult subjects, from diverse backgrounds.</p>
