This is a course about Challenging Cases of Hearing Loss

S. Armagan Incesulu graduated Ankara University Medical School and completed residency in Ankara.  Between 1995-1996, she was a fellow in Otology-Neurotology Department in Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston-USA. She continued her work and academic studies within the same department during the years 1997-1998. She earned Master of Science Degree at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head&Neck Surgery, Audiology and Speech Pathology Unit.  She is currently affiliated in Eskişehir Osmangazi University Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head&Neck Surgery since the year 2005. She has been full professor since 2009. She founded cochlear implant program in Yıldırım Beyazit Research and Educational Hospital in 1999 and performed several cochlear implantations in adults and children. She also founded Cochlear Implant Program in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head&Neck Surgery in 2005

She has more than 100 articles published in journals. She also served as an editorial board members in many scientific journals.

She is the past President of Mediterranean Society of Otology and Audiology.

Dr. Irina Arechvo is an otologist and neurotologist from Vilnius, Lithuania, with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. She specializes in middle ear and lateral skull base surgery, chronic otitis media, cholesteatoma, endoscopic ear surgery, and vestibular disorders. She completed her PhD at Dresden Technical University, Germany, with a thesis on middle ear biomechanics and total ossicular replacement prostheses. Currently she holds the position of President of the Lithuanian Otorhinolaryngological Society. Her current focus is on integrating endoscopic techniques into routine otologic practice in Lithuania and promoting minimally invasive ear surgery through education and international collaboration.
