facial reanimation, masseter-to-facial nerve anastomosis
09-10, 14:00–14:10 (Europe/Istanbul), Facial Plastic 2

Facial paralysis is a complex condition that profoundly affects patients' quality of life both functionally and aesthetically. Therefore, sharing up-to-date knowledge and surgical experience regarding static and dynamic reanimation approaches is of great importance, particularly among ENT specialists, in terms of professional development and standardization of patient care.

In our clinic, we perform procedures such as temporalis tendon transfer, gold weight implantation in the eyelid, lateral tarsal strip, and masseter-to-facial nerve anastomosis. I aim to share our experience in masseter-to-facial nerve anastomosis and are committed to further developing our skills in this field.

I have been working as a specialist physician at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital in Istanbul for 3 years. I am a fellow supported by an EAFPS scholarship and currently continuing my fellowship training. I focus particularly on facial plastic surgery and facial reanimation.
