Outcomes of Temporalis Tendon Transfer in Patients with Möbius Syndrome
09-12, 10:45–11:00 (Europe/Istanbul), Facial Plastic 2

The purpose of this proposal is to evaluate the functional and aesthetic outcomes of temporalis tendon transfer in patients with Möbius syndrome. This procedure is a technically straightforward and reliable surgical option for facial reanimation. However, the outcomes related to this technique remain limited in the literature. This study aims to contribute valuable clinical evidence by assessing facial symmetry, oral commissure movement, and patient satisfaction following surgery.

The technique offers a simple and effective alternative for facial reanimation; however, data on its results remain limited. By analyzing both functional and aesthetic outcomes, this study seeks to contribute to the understanding and optimization of this surgical approach.

I have been working as a specialist physician at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital in Istanbul for 3 years. I am a fellow supported by an EAFPS scholarship and currently continuing my fellowship training. I focus particularly on facial plastic surgery and facial reanimation.
