<p>S. Armagan Incesulu graduated Ankara University Medical School and completed residency in Ankara. Between 1995-1996, she was a fellow in Otology-Neurotology Department in Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston-USA. She continued her work and academic studies within the same department during the years 1997-1998. She earned Master of Science Degree at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head&Neck Surgery, Audiology and Speech Pathology Unit. She is currently affiliated in Eskişehir Osmangazi University Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head&Neck Surgery since the year 2005. She has been full professor since 2009. She founded cochlear implant program in Yıldırım Beyazit Research and Educational Hospital in 1999 and performed several cochlear implantations in adults and children. She also founded Cochlear Implant Program in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head&Neck Surgery in 2005</p> <p>She has more than 100 articles published in journals. She also served as an editorial board members in many scientific journals.</p> <p>She is the past President of Mediterranean Society of Otology and Audiology.</p>

<p>Associate Professor Oliver Profant, MD, PhD is Chief Physician of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Královské Vinohrady University Hospital and Associate Professor at the Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. He is also a researcher at the Department of Auditory Neuroscience, Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Czech Academy of Sciences.</p> <p>After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava, he joined the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Motol University Hospital in 2006. Since 2017, he has been affiliated with the Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Královské Vinohrady University Hospital, where he has served as Chief Physician since 2018. He became board-certified in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2011, received his PhD in Neuroscience in 2014, and was appointed Associate Professor of Otorhinolaryngology in 2025.</p> <p>He completed clinical and research fellowships at internationally recognized centers in Mainz (Prof. Mann), Hannover (Prof. Lenarz), and Los Angeles (Prof. Brackmann). His clinical expertise includes audiology, otoneurology, otologic surgery, hearing rehabilitation, and lateral skull base surgery.</p> <p>His research focuses on age-related hearing loss, tinnitus, central auditory processing, hearing and cognition, auditory neurophysiology, and multimodal neuroimaging. He has coordinated and participated in numerous national and international research projects investigating the interaction between hearing loss, brain plasticity, and cognitive decline. His work combines advanced audiological testing with electrophysiology and structural and functional MRI to improve the diagnosis and management of hearing disorders.</p> <p>Associate Professor Profant has authored 36 peer-reviewed original and review articles indexed in the Web of Science (over 800 citations, H-index 15), contributed eight book chapters, and serves as a reviewer for several international journals. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, supervises PhD students, and is the academic guarantor of the certified postgraduate course Technical Audiology.</p>
