Synchronous metachronous cancers in head and neck cancers: case reports
09-12, 09:00–09:30 (Europe/Istanbul), Head & Neck Surgery 4

Nowadays, the number of patients with multiple primary cancers is increasing. The widespread use of PET CT and meticulous follow-up of oncological patients facilitates the early detection of multiple primary tumors. However, the management of these patients sometimes poses a challenge for the physician.

Addressing this issue with case reports can shed light on our daily practice. In addition, the panel can discuss the genetic characteristics underlying multiple cancers, provide information on genetic studies and treatments, and share ideas for the future.

I work at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine. My special interest is head and neck surgery.
