Dr. Fink is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He serves as the section chief of Laryngology. His clinical practice includes the treatment of voice, swallowing, and airway disorders. His research interests include management of airway stenosis, management of chronic cough, and voice outcomes in the management of laryngeal dysplasia and malignancy. Dr. Fink has lectured on topics related to airway, cough, and laryngeal cancer at multiple national meetings and has published widely on all of the above topics.
Professor Viorel Zainea, MD, PhD is Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Head of the ENT Clinic at Prof. Dr. Dorin Hociota Institute of Phonoaudiology and Functional ENT Surgery, Bucharest, Romania. He is a Corresponding Member of the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences and a PhD supervisor in Otorhinolaryngology.
With over 25 years of surgical experience and more than 1,100 transoral CO₂ laser microsurgery procedures for laryngeal premalignant and malignant lesions, Professor Zainea is recognized for his contributions to the development and standardization of minimally invasive oncologic approaches in head and neck surgery.
He has authored over 170 ISI-indexed scientific papers, numerous textbooks and surgical manuals, and has coordinated national training programs in laser and endoscopic ENT surgery. Professor Zainea is an International Faculty member of ENT Masterclass and an invited speaker at major European and world congresses.
His academic and surgical activity focuses on organ-preserving oncologic surgery, advanced endoscopic techniques, and the integration of high technologies in head and neck surgery.
Dr. McWhorter is a Professor in the LSUHSC Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in New Orleans Louisiana and is the Director of the Our Lady of the Lake-LSU Voice Center in Baton Rouge. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins and his Laryngollogy Fellowship at Vanderbilt. His practiec encompasses the breadth of laryngology with a focus in conservation laryngeal surgery. His research is conducted with Dr. Melda Kunduk and the LSU Voice Laboratory in high speed digital imaging and acoustic analysis.
