There is a great debate to use structural versus preservation techniques in rhinoplasty. this session will be between pros and cons of these techniques

Dr. Abdülkadir Göksel is a board-certified ENT and facial plastic surgeon based in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency in Ear, Nose and Throat and Head & Neck Surgery at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. From the early years of his career, he has focused on facial plastic surgery, with particular expertise in aesthetic, functional, and revision rhinoplasty.

He passed the European Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2015. He is a former General Secretary of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) and currently serves as a board member of both EAFPS and the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association.

Dr. Göksel is the Co-President of the biennial Structure Preservation Rhinoplasty Meeting. He is frequently invited to international congresses across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the United States to lecture on structure preservation rhinoplasty, nasal tip surgery, and complex revision cases. In addition, he regularly hosts surgeons from around the world in Istanbul for live surgery training and advanced educational programs.

He is a founding member of the International Rhinoplasty Research Society (IRRS) and an honorary member of the Russian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
