Dr. Takahiro Tsujikawa is Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine. Following postdoctoral research at Oregon Health & Science University, he leads translational oncology focused on the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME).
A pioneer in multiplex imaging and spatial profiling, Dr. Tsujikawa has driven breakthroughs in response-adapted surgical strategies and the thyroid tumor immune microenvironment. He serves as Chair of the International Committee of the Japan Society for Head and Neck Surgery, actively driving global multi-center research in immunotherapy, microbiome dynamics, and EGFR-targeted photoimmunotherapy.
