I currently serve as President of the Spanish Society of Dental Sleep Medicine (SEMDeS), and I am a board member of both FESMES and EADSM. I also collaborate with the Maxillofacial and Dentistry Working Group of the Spanish Sleep Society (SES) and with the World Dentofacial Sleep Society (WDSS).

My research activity focuses on sleep-related disorders, particularly snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, within the Sleep-Disordered Breathing Unit at Hospital La Zarzuela in Madrid. My research line is centered on diagnosis and personalized treatment from an interdisciplinary perspective, integrating dentistry and sleep medicine. Clinically, I work closely with multidisciplinary teams to treat patients suffering from sleep-related breathing disorders.

I am the Creator of the "Mandibular Advancement Selector" (SAM), a device designed to assist in the selection of patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea who may be suitable candidates for treatment with Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs).

I have authored publications in international journals, book chapters, and monographs in the field of sleep-related breathing disorders, and regularly participates in national and international courses and scientific conferences.
