Endoscopic management of bilateral vocal fold inmobility in children
09-12, 15:00–15:30 (Europe/Istanbul), Pediatric Otolaryngology 1

DESCRIPTION: Showcase the surgical technique for endoscopic vocal fold lateralization and endoscopic cricoid split (with or without cartilage graft)

OBJECTIVE: Present reproducible steps for performing complex endoscopic airway procedures using standard instruments

BACKGROUND: The management of bilateral vocal fold inmobility in children is still a significant challenge in pediatric otolaryngology. Endoscopic techniques have been described as a less invasive approach.

Highlight current endoscopic surgical techniques for bilateral vocal fold inmobility in children, simplifying the procedures to make them reproducible with commonly available instruments
