I am board-certified in Neurotology and I have a busy surgical practice in the New York City at ENT and Allergy Associates, LLC, and >35 years of experience in treating cholesteatoma. I am a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I was on full time faculty at Mount Sinai for 12 years, and at SUNY Stony Brook for 15 years before that. I have co-authored a textbook titled, Cholesteatoma (Thieme, New York, 2011). From 2000-2023, I have given an instructional course at the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery titled, Surgical Decision Making in Cholesteatoma. I also have a relevant publication, Cholesteatoma in the normal hearing ear, Laryngoscope. 2007;117:854-8.
