Dr Marie Mailly is an ENT specialist in voice disorders and botulinum toxin injections.

She graduated with a doctorate in medicine in 2011 and specialised in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. At the end of her residency, she began a hospital career in 2014, specialising in laryngology/phoniatrics. There, she developed expertise in laryngeal microsurgery, laryngeal electromyography, and botulinum toxin injections into the larynx.

In 2021, she founded her own private practice in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. In 2023, she joined the renowned laryngology team at Foch Hospital (Suresnes).

She also teaches courses as part of the Inter-University Diplomas in Laryngology and Phoniatrics. Dr Mailly wrote the Surgical Atlas of Benign Vocal Cord Lesions. She also contributed to the drafting of recommendations on the management of unilateral laryngeal paralysis in 2022. She has also written numerous scientific articles on botulinum toxin in ENT. Since 2023, she has been working in partnership with the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse and the Paris Opera to prevent vocal disorders in opera singers.

She regularly publishes posts on social media under the alias @docteurdelavoix to raise awareness about her medical speciality, and is a regular guest on media programmes to talk about the voice.
