İlkokul, ortaokul ve lise eğitimini İzmit’te tamamladıktan sonra Gazi Üniversitesinde Tıp fakültesi eğitimine başladı. 1999 yılında üniversite eğitimimi tamamladım. Selçuk üniversitesi Meram Tıp Fakültesinde de KBB ihtisasımı yaptım. 2004 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi Meram Tıp Fakültesine Yard. Doç. Dr. olarak atandım. 2012 yılındaDoçent, 2017 yılında Profesör ünvanını aldım. 1 yıllık HauseEar Kliniğinde Resarch eğitimi yaptım. 2023 yılında kadar Selçuk Üniversitesindene ayrılıp KTO Üniversitesi MedovaHastanesinde görev yapmaya başladım. Evli ve 2 çocuk annesiyim.

Scientific research of Prof.G.Tufatulin focuses on the priority issues of pediatric audiology, electrophysiology, amplification, organization of audiology services, and rehabilitation. He is the author of the method of hydrovibration stimulation for early rehabilitation of children with severe hearing impairments. Under the guidance of Prof.Tufatulin, a protocol for audiological examination of infants in the Russian Federation has been published. He implemented the audit program of the first stage of audiological screening in St Petersburg, optimized approaches to pediatric amplification, electrophysiological diagnostics of hearing. Gaziz Tufatulin us initiator and head of a scientific project on the rehabilitation of balance and coordination disorders in children with hearing impairments. Since 2019, he has been a member of the EFAS (European Federation of Audiological Societies) working group on audiological screening of schoolchildren.
