Stephan Lang
Prof. Stephan Lang is Chair of the Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospital in Essen, Germany. His areas of expertise include tumor immunology and advanced tumor surgery. He conducts research on the use of robotics, virtual reality, 4K 3D imaging, and artificial intelligence in head and neck surgery. His research interests also focus on the analysis of tumor-host interactions and the tumor microenvironment. Dr. Lang has published more than 350 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals, and his h-index is 61. In addition, he is the Past President of the German Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
