Zhanna Mokoyan
<p>Dr. Zhanna Mokoyan is an otorhinolaryngologist and Associate Professor at the ENT Department of Sechenov University in Moscow, Russia. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Sechenov University in 2014, followed by an Otorhinolaryngology Residency in 2016. She also trained as a Medical Interpreter at the Institute of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication.</p>
<p>Since 2017, Dr. Mokoyan has served as Associate Professor at Sechenov University, combining teaching with clinical practice. She had been working as an otorhinolaryngologist at Clinical Hospital "Mat' I ditya" in Lapino, since 2020 to 2022. Previously, she practiced at a private medical center in Moscow from 2016 to 2019 and worked as a researcher at Sechenov University until 2020.</p>
<p>Her clinical interests focus on rhinology and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Mokoyan has specialized expertise in nasal septal perforation repair, functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery. She has contributed significantly to research in these areas, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her work includes developing novel surgical techniques for septal perforation closure, unilateral fixation for deviated nose correction, and innovative graft harvesting methods.</p>
<p>Dr. Mokoyan has completed clinical observerships abroad at the Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria (2013), and the CHU UCL Namur Hospital in Belgium (2017). She speaks Russian natively and English at an upper-intermediate level.</p>
