Hurol Erisci

<p>Hakkı Hürol Erişçi graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Boğaziçi University after completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. He has over forty years of professional experience in the fields of audiological equipment and hearing aid technologies.</p> <p>Between 1980 and 1982, he worked in the United States at Cape Canaveral, specializing in telecommunications. Following his return to Türkiye, he served as a contracted lecturer at Hacettepe University School of Health Services between 1984 and 1987, where he taught Professional Technology in Audiology to audiometry students and Hearing Aid Technology to graduate students in audiology.</p> <p>Mr. Erişçi led the first Clinical-Type Audiometer Project in Türkiye, successfully designing and producing its prototype. He is also the author of Türkiye’s first two books on Ear Mold Theory and Applications and Objective Hearing Aid Fitting Methods, both of which continue to serve as key reference texts for hearing aid professionals.</p> <p>In 1990, he founded Erişçi Elektronik Industry and Trade Ltd., a company that remains active in the fields of hearing, speech, and balance disorders. Ten years ago, he further contributed to the sector by establishing Erişçi Academy, a pioneering educational initiative in audiology technologies.</p> <p>He currently delivers seminars and lectures at numerous universities on Instrumentation and Calibration in Audiology and Hearing Aid Technologies. Additionally, he is one of the contributing conceptual advisors to the ongoing European Metrology Research Programme project on New Calibration Methods in Audiology.</p> <p>Mr. Erişçi is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology, the International Hearing Aids Society, and the Acoustical Society of America.</p>
