<p>Dr. Havvagül Topal</p> <p>Dr. Havvagül Topal was born in Erzurum, Türkiye, on November 23, 1998. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2022. Following graduation, she worked as a general practitioner at Bartın State Hospital between October 2022 and October 2023. Since August 2024, she has been continuing her residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Hospital.</p> <p>Her academic interests are mainly focused on otology, neurotology, and ear surgery. She has been involved as a researcher and co-author in scientific studies presented at national and international congresses. The studies entitled “Concurrent Intracranial Complications of Acute Suppurative Otitis Media: Subdural Empyema, Epidural Abscess and Sigmoid Sinus Thrombosis” and “Intracochlear Schwannoma Presenting with Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss: Diagnostic and Clinical Approach” were among the scientific studies presented at the IFHNOS 2025 Congress and the 16th International Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Congress & 3rd Ankara Phoniatry Days, respectively.</p> <p>As part of her professional development, she has participated in various scientific congresses and training courses. She took part in practical group sessions during the Otoscopy Course organized by the Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization Society. She also attended the 16th International Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Congress & 3rd Ankara Phoniatry Days, as well as courses on Endoscopic Ear Surgery, Allergy, and Artificial Intelligence, Scientific Writing, and Statistics.
