<p>Peter Böttcher is a specialist in screening and tracking affairs and an employee of PATH MEDICAL GmbH, Germany. He has been involved in the implementation of more than 20 screening programs or projects around the world and advises initiatives and governments on setting up quality-assured hearing screening programs.</p> <p>His work focuses on consulting, planning and setting up sustainable tracking structures and establishing cost-effective and stable prevention programs.</p> <p>In the past he worked as project manager for the implementation of a quality-assured universal newborn hearing screening in Hesse, Germany, on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs. The results were to a large extent decisive for the nationwide introduction of a mandatory NHS in Germany. He was founder of the Alliance of German Hearing Screening Centers.</p>
