Hongming Xu
<p>Hongming Xu was born in China, in 1981. He received the M.D. degree in Otorhinolaryngology from Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing, China, in 2018. He is a Chief Physician in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Shanghai Children’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.</p>
<p>His clinical practice focuses on pediatric rhinology and upper airway disorders. He has led several projects funded by the NSFC and other institutions, and has authored or co-authored over 20 journal papers. His research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence in pediatric otolaryngology, particularly AI-assisted diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and finite element modeling in laryngomalacia.</p>
