Can sinonasal diagnostics be changed?
Marko Velepič
Diagnostics of chronic rhinosinuitis and allergic rhinitis haven’t changed for many years. Chronic rhinosinusitis is diagnosed by anamnesis, endoscopic evaluation, and radiology assessment (mostly CT scan).
Allergic rhinitis is diagnosed by anamnesis, endoscopic evaluation, and skin-prick or serum IgE test.
Both diagnostics are somewhat subjective.
