Phoebe Ramos

Dr. Phoebe Ramos Yanine is an Otolaryngologist–Head and Neck Surgeon from Chile with a clinical and research focus on cochlear implantation and auditory outcomes. She completed her medical training at Universidad del Desarrollo and her Otolaryngology residency at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

She undertook a two-year Cochlear Implant Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, where she trained in advanced cochlear implant surgery and postoperative imaging-guided optimisation of implant performance. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Melbourne, investigating anatomically guided cochlear implant programming and personalised approaches to auditory rehabilitation, with particular interest in electrode positioning and basal electrode optimisation.
