Ming Ying Lan

Prof. Ming-Ying Lan (M.D.; Ph.D.) is currently a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Taipei Veterans General Hospital and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. She is the former President of the Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (TAFPRS), and currently serves as the Supervisor of the Taiwan Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Director of the Taiwan Rhinology Society, Executive Director of the Taiwan Skull Base Society, and TAFPRS.

Her clinical expertise includes endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, and functional rhinoplasty. Her research interests encompass sinusitis, nasopharyngeal cancer, sinonasal cancer, biosensors, and biomaterials. Prof. Lan has published extensively in both clinical and translational research and has been invited to speak at numerous international conferences. She has served as Course Director for numerous sinus and skull base dissection courses as well as rhinoplasty courses in Taiwan and has been invited to serve as guest faculty at international sinus and skull base dissection courses.
