Dr. Mawaddah Azman is an Associate Professor of Laryngology and the current Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia (UKM). She is actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and previously served as a Fellow at the Centre for Teaching and Curriculum Development, UKM.
She plays a pivotal leadership role in the National ORL–HNS Postgraduate Training Board and currently serves as its Head. In addition, she is the Director of the UKM Clinical Fellowship Programme in Laryngology and Sleep Apnoea.
Dr. Mawaddah has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of laryngology, sleep medicine, and surgical nutrition, with her work published in journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), and other recognised international databases.
