Patients with tertiary hyperparathyroidism, recurrent or persistent disease, and reoperative neck surgery often require advanced preoperative planning, intraoperative strategy, and precise anatomical orientation. The complexity of these cases demands both theoretical knowledge and practical insight.

this 30-minute educational session will offer a case-based overview of parathyroid surgery, focusing on surgical approaches to challenging scenarios. Emphasis will be placed on preoperative imaging interpretation, intraoperative decision-making, and techniques to minimize complications. The session will be enriched by high-quality operative videos and images from my personal surgical archive, including cases of tertiary hyperparathyroidism, revision surgery, and ectopic or reoperative parathyroid explorations.
