Hürü Beyza Cerit

<p>I was born in 1998 in the Düziçi district of Osmaniye Province, Türkiye. I completed my primary and secondary education at İrfanlı Primary School. Subsequently, I graduated from Adana Science High School.</p> <p>In 2017, I started my medical education in the English Medicine Program at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine and successfully graduated in 2023. During my undergraduate medical education, I participated in a TÜBİTAK-supported research project in the Department of Pharmacology under the supervision of Hakan Parlakpınar entitled “The Therapeutic Role of Apocynin in Radiation-Induced Lung Injury.” During this period, I also served as the vice president of the İnönü University Culture and Arts Society.</p> <p>I completed my compulsory medical service at Pazarcık District Health Directorate. During this period, I succeeded in the Medical Specialty Examination (TUS) and started my residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Selçuk University as a resident physician. I have currently completed my second year of residency training.</p> <p>During my residency, under the supervision of Bülent Ulusoy, I published a case report entitled “Isolated Laryngeal Involvement in Mucosal Membrane Pemphigoid: Diagnostic and Surgical Treatment Approach.”</p> <p>I have English proficiency at the B2 level. In addition to my academic interests, I play the guitar and the bağlama at an advanced level.</p>
