Agnes Dupret-Bories

<p>Agnès Dupret-Bories is an ENT surgeon at IUCT-Oncopole/CHU Toulouse, specializing in head and neck oncology and, more specifically, microsurgical reconstruction.</p> <p>She is responsible for the National Recourse RCP (Multidisciplinary Team Meeting) on “complex reconstructions in head and neck surgery” and leads the ‘reconstruction’ group within the “Head and Neck Committee” of the National Academy of Surgery.</p> <p>She is an associate researcher in a biomaterials laboratory, CIRIMAT. She supervises numerous students (doctorate, master's, medical thesis, etc.) and teaches at an engineering school (INP Toulouse) on the theme of “materials for living organisms.”</p> <p>Her main research theme is improving the care and quality of life of patients treated for head and neck cancer.</p> <p>She is the author or co-author of more than 95 scientific publications and contributes to books.</p> <p>She is the leader of numerous clinical and translational research projects, including an ANR PRCE BIOFISS (development of a new biomaterial to limit salivary fistulas after total (pharyngo)laryngectomy) and the RHU BIOFACE project (development of new biomaterials for facial bone reconstruction in oncology), winner of the AAP RHU 2023 France 2030 (€4.3 million in funding for a total project cost of €13 million).</p>
