Dr. Rajika Ramakrishnan, MBBS, MS (ENT)

Dr. Rajika Ramakrishnan is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Madras ENT Research Foundation and a faculty member at the MERF Institute of Speech and Hearing. She serves as the Consultant-in-Charge of the Vestibular Lab and plays a key role in MERF’s cochlear and auditory implant programs.

She has undergone extensive training including an Implantation Otology Fellowship and the IAOHNS Mentorship Program under Prof. Mohan Kameswaran, as well as the IASSA Certified Sleep Apnoea Surgery Training.

Dr. Rajika has presented at numerous national and international forums, including as an invited speaker at the 8th GCIAN World Congress in Argentina. She has also served on the Scientific Committee of CIGICON 2023 and the Organizing Committee of IASSACON 2024.

Her areas of interest include cochlear and auditory brainstem implantation, vestibular diagnostics, and balloon Eustachian tuboplasty. She is currently pursuing research on BET outcomes and TTEABR-guided decision-making in implant surgeries.
