<p>Lovisa Farnebo completed her clinical training at Linköping University Hospital, Sweden. She presented her PhD thesis in 2010, and subsequently undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, California from 2011 to 2013. She was appointed Associate Professor in 2017.</p> <p>Her clinical practice and research focus on patients with head and neck cancer. She currently serves as the principal supervisor for five PhD students in this field.</p> <p>She served as President of the Swedish Society of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery from 2021 to 2026 and is currently President of the Acta Foundation in Sweden.</p>
