Ismet Vurur
<p>Dr. Ismet Vurur is an Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery resident at Bakirkoy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, Türkiye. He is currently undergoing comprehensive surgical training in rhinology, otology, laryngology, and head and neck surgery within a high-volume tertiary referral center.</p>
<p>His operative experience includes functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septoplasty, thyroid and neck surgery, and a growing focus on rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic procedures. He has a particular interest in surgical anatomy, structural rhinoplasty principles, and the balance between functional and aesthetic outcomes in nasal surgery. His long-term professional goal is to further specialize in facial plastic and aesthetic surgery while maintaining a strong foundation in evidence-based otolaryngology practice.</p>
<p>Dr. Vurur actively participates in academic research and case-based scientific presentations, contributing to discussions on diagnostic challenges and surgical decision-making in head and neck pathology. He values multidisciplinary collaboration and aims to integrate reconstructive and aesthetic principles into functional ENT surgery.</p>
<p>He is committed to continuous professional development and international academic exchange. Through participation in international congresses such as IFOS, he seeks to expand his surgical perspective, engage with leaders in rhinoplasty and facial aesthetics, and contribute to advancing modern otolaryngologic practice.</p>
