Dr. Yang-Sun CHO is a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Seoul National University Hospital. His clinical and research interests focus on otology/neurotology and skull base surgery.

He operated on more than 500 cases of congenital aural atresia, > 300 cases of lateral skull base surgery, including 120 cases of temporal bone malignancy. He published 189 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and among them, 72 articles were written as a first or corresponding author in SCI(E) journals.
