<p>My name is Mireya Bonet Loscertales, MD, and I am a physician based in Madrid, Spain, currently working at Fundación Jiménez Díaz. My clinical practice is focused on otology, and I am routinely involved in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of otologic disorders.</p> <p>In recent years, I have developed a particular interest in sudden sensorineural hearing loss and its long-term impact on patients’ quality of life. I have participated in several research studies in this field, with a special focus on treatment strategies, hearing recovery, and the broader functional and psychosocial implications of residual hearing impairment. Through both clinical practice and research, I aim to contribute to a more comprehensive and patient-centred approach to the management of hearing disorders.</p>
