Carmine Prizio
Dr. Carmine Prizio, MD, graduated with honours and academic distinction in Medicine and Surgery from San Raffaele University of Milan. He completed the four-year specialty programme in Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery in November 2025 at the University of Turin, with honours, defending an experimental thesis on the surgical management of advanced oral cavity cancer. During residency he gained experience in several high-volume Italian referral centres and undertook an overseas observership in Head & Neck Surgery in India. Since December 2025, he has served as Consultant ENT Surgeon at ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda in Milan.
An active member of the Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery (SIOeChCF) and its young section, Dr Prizio is the author of peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and has served as faculty and speaker at numerous national and regional courses and congresses.
His current clinical and research interests focus on sinonasal and skull base disorders, as well as head and neck oncology, with attention to multidisciplinary decision-making and personalised treatment planning. He is familiar with major open surgical techniques and minimally invasive endoscopic approaches.
