Jennifer Anderson
Dr Jennifer Anderson is an Associate Professor and former Chief of Department (2008-2021) at St Michaels Hospital, a tertiary academic hospital, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. Dr Anderson sub-specialises in laryngology and completed a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology after residency in Otolaryngology-HNS at the University of Toronto.
Dr Anderson has developed the largest state-of-the-art laryngology centre of excellence in Canada with than 3,000 patients a year. The multidisciplinary team includes four laryngologists and three speech language pathologists and one vocal pedagogist that provide diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex voice and laryngology disorders. The centre is also equipped with several stroboscopy suites as well as both the KTP and TruBlue ARC laser for specialised office-based procedures.
Clinical and research interests of Dr Anderson include professional voice care, office-based procedures, quality and safety, laryngeal trauma, RCPD, neurogenic voice disorders and laryngeal framework surgery.
