Maria Fernanda Tieso
<p>I am an otorhinolaryngologist with a clinical practice focused on otology and ear surgery. Over the past several years, I have dedicated my work to the study, critical analysis, and scientific dissemination of the research developed by Santos Tieso, MD, an otorhinolaryngologist, researcher, and lecturer in the Acoustical Engineering Program. His work proposes a novel physical–mathematical framework for understanding inner ear function, challenging traditional interpretations of cochlear physiology. My academic and professional interests lie at the intersecion of clinical otology and theoretical modeling of inner ear function. I am particularly engaged in exploring how rigorous physical and mathematical frameworks can contribute to a deeper understanding of cochlear physiology and auditory phenomena.</p>
